Working in partnership with 25 local authorities to operate leisure centres from Barry to Essex and Leeds to Penzance, from golf courses to theatres, events venues to leisure centres of all shapes and sizes, Parkwood Leisure has developed a wealth of experience in managing a variety of leisure facilities. We work with the local authority to understand their needs and requirements, bringing some of our best brands in to the centres such the Camp Adventure holiday club, Sway Dance to encourage young people to get active and Aquazone Swimming Lessons where we make water safety a priority in partnership with the ASA.

    This exciting contract includes 4 leisure centres of various sizes including the newly built Dereham Leisure Centre. With a main pool, learner pool, 55 station gym , sports hall and group exercise facilities, the local community has access to a new and impressive range of fitness facilities.

  • Bristol City Council

    Parkwood Leisure work in partnership with Bristol City Council to manage Jubilee Swimming Pool and build the new Hengrove Park Leisure Centre which opened in Spring 2012. The new facility is home to a 50 metre swimming pool, a 173 station gym, exercise studios, health suite and climbing wall. The Jubilee Swimming Pool was also recently refurbished in 2012 and a gym was built in to increase the accessibility to fitness facilities for local residents.

  • Cardiff City Council

    Cardiff International Pool is an impressive family focussed facility with a fun pool, 50 metre competition swimming pool, gym, exercise studio and health suite located on the Cardiff Bay. The centre is home to many high profile competitions and was the training centre for the Brazilian Olympic Swimming team in the run up to London 2012.

    Parkwood Leisure is responsible for managing the Alice Holt Cycle Centre, which is located in the heart of the Alice Holt Forest, in Farnham, Surrey.

  • Kettering Borough Council

    Working in partnership with Kettering Borough Council, Parkwood Leisure operates 4 centres including two leisure centres, an events venue and an athletics facility. Desborough Leisure Centre was recently built and has just seen heavy investment to encourage grass roots football in the area.

    The Forum Leisure Centre is situated within an office building, encouraging it's employees to stay active. The centre offers a swimmng pool, gym and fitness classes.

    Working in partnership with The London Borough of Bexley Council, Parkwood Leisure operates three large centres which offer an impressive range of facilities to the local community. The contract has a significant number of children enrolled in Sway Dance classes and is a fantastic example of an area which actively encourages children to get active.

  • London Borough of Hounslow

    Working on behalf of the London Borough of Hounslow, Parkwood Leisure delivers accredited cycle training to a wide range of groups such as school children, helping to improve cycling safety and awareness.

  • Maidstone Borough Council

    In 2013, Parkwood Theatres began working with Maidstone Borough Council to operate the exciting local theatre; The Hazlitt. The venue sees many exciting shows and local performances.

    Working with North Devon council, Parkwood Leisure operates North Devon Leisure Centre and the Ilfracombe Swimming Pool, ensuring that local fitness facilities and swimming lessons for children are available to the local community.
