28/07/21 – Richmond Golf Course operated by Glendale Golf, has invested £50,000 in a stunning external seating area by its lakeside for members and guests to enjoy.

Gabion seating, jumbrellas, a bespoke BBQ station and outdoor bar are what guests can expect to see when the extension opens in early August.

The idea was put forward after the existing clubhouse presented some space for outdoor seating between itself and the lakeside to create a unique hospitality setting.

Operating in a highly competitive area of West London, the club, which hosts two picturesque golf courses (The Prince’s Course and The Duke’s Course), now offers a ravishing setting with a high quality hospitality experience.

Set in Richmond Park, the club provides a place for friends of all ages to enjoy whether people are members or not. The club aims to cater to an ‘all aged adult’ demographic with the selection of food and drinks on offer. They are available to order through a recently introduced table ordering app.

With an already established member base of senior members, the club is anticipating that their demographic target will be reached as the number of young people taking up the game is increasing rapidly.

Head of Glendale Golf, Jon Dummett, has said of the project:

“We are very excited to open this new branch of the golf club at Richmond. The project has been in the planning for a few months now to utilise the space between the club and lakeside – it has made for a truly magnificent setting. We cannot wait to open the doors to the members as well as anyone that would like to come in and have a drink overlooking the lake.”
