AN EXCELLENT EASTER IN STORE FOR VISITORS AT RUFFORD ABBEY COUNTRY PARK

20 March, 2023 Parkwood Leisure’s Rufford Abbey in Ollerton, Nottinghamshire, is hosting a range of Easter-themed activities for families and visitors of all ages over the school holidays and throughout April.

The site attracted thousands of visitors over the February half-term holidays, providing family-friendly, affordable fun for visitors of all ages, and this year’s Easter calendar is set to do the same.

For just £2.50 per person, visitors can purchase a trail sheet from the Gift Shop to take part in the annual Easter Egg Hunt. Troublesome bunnies have hidden Easter Eggs all around the park, and guests are tasked with finding them all.

Families will enjoy a freshly cooked breakfast or brunch in the site’s traditional Victorian setting, Saville’s restaurant. Guests can even expect a special visitor to hop by and say hello.

On the 5th & 12th April, White Post Farm will be visiting Rufford Abbey. For just £2.50, visitors can meet the animals, stop for a cuddle, and ask the team all the questions they have about looking after their furry friends.

Coppers Entertainment return to Rufford Abbey with their outdoor theatre production, “The Bunny Who Saved Easter”. Have you ever asked yourself where the Easter Bunny came from, or how he got his name?

This hour-long production aims to have audiences giggling, singing and clapping along. With the weather getting warmer, audiences are encouraged to grab a blanket, sit out on the lawn and enjoy the performance with tickets priced at £14 for adults and £11 for children.

Commenting on the Easter-themed activities, Kirsty Edwards, Contract Manager at Rufford Abbey, said:

“We’re always delighted to welcome families, children, and visitors of all ages to Rufford Abbey with affordable, family-friendly activities. Easter is an exciting time for parents and children, so as the weather starts to get warmer, we want to ensure that all our Easter activities are fun, and accessible to a wide range of families throughout the community. We can’t wait to welcome all our visitors throughout the Easter season!”
