‘Spade In The Ground’ at Broughton Astley

Parkwood Leisure were proud to host a ‘spade in the ground’ event, marking the start of construction works for Broughton Astley’s state of the art leisure centre. This project is being built as part of a major community enhancement, encouraging sports, well-being, fitness and family activities to all residents and general public in the surrounding area.

Parkwood Leisure visitor attractions secure ‘We’re Good to Go’ industry standard ahead of reopening

Thursday 16th July 2020 – Four venues managed by leisure facilities operator Parkwood Leisure have been awarded the ‘We’re Good to Go’ industry standard by Visit Britain.

Launched last month, the ‘We’re Good to Go’ initiative is a new UK-wide standard and mark for the tourism industry, and is awarded to businesses in recognition of adherence to COVID-19 reopening measures outlined by the government and Public Health England.
