Other features include a new multipurpose room for exercise and events, dedicated disabled changing facilities, additional family changing areas and improved shower facilities.

Glen Hall, Managing Director of Parkwood Leisure said: “We’re delighted to see that the refurbishment of Towcester Centre for Leisure has been completed and we can’t wait to welcome members back to the centre from 12 April. We’re proud of what we’ve achieved with the project and  are excited to open the doors and show off these fantastic new and improved facilities to all of our customers.”

Karen Cooper, councillor for SNC, added “After what has been a challenging year for leisure centres across the county, it is welcome news that the newly refurbished Towcester Centre for Leisure will soon be able to open its doors and welcome back its members.

This legacy project of South Northants Council demonstrates our commitment and passion for helping more people to improve their health and wellbeing by getting active. We look forward to seeing many new and returning members visit us when we officially reopen.”
